ABOUT THE ARTIST

Thalo Halo is a painter based in Geneva, Illinois, outside Chicago. His collaged cartoon style draws from the pop-cultural and psychological influences that have shaped different milestones throughout his life.

After earning an Associate Degree in Art from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 1986, Thalo stepped away from painting for two decades before returning with a style that is nostalgic, personal and unmistakably his own.
