Untitled #1 gets its sharpest contrast here.

Renee Orlando’s blackwork usually lives comfortably in the dark. On this piece, we went the other way. A washed white body fades into charcoal at the collar, sleeves and hem, giving the garment the look of something pulled from an old studio archive rather than a fresh blank.

Against it sits Renee’s heart-shaped skull in black and muted gold, smoke twisting from the top and the Flash Supply Co. collaboration mark worked into the composition. A smaller version sits on the chest, while the full artwork takes over the back at 40 × 52cm.

The cleaner canvas lets every line hit harder.

The boxy cut was chosen deliberately. Wide through the shoulders, loose through the body and built with a drop shoulder, it gives the artwork scale without turning the shirt into a billboard. At 250 gsm, the cotton still has enough structure to hold its shape while remaining light enough to wear year-round.

Untitled #1 is Renee’s darker visual language distilled into a collection: mortality, beauty, tension and the things we don’t always have words for. Like her tattoo work, the imagery doesn’t need to explain itself before it earns your attention.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle.

Do not bleach.

Tumble dry low.

Iron at low temperature and avoid ironing directly over the print.

Do not dry clean.

Minor variation between garments can occur through the washing, dyeing and production process. Those differences are part of the character of a vintage-washed piece rather than a defect.
